Our $2 Entry is donated to a cause that’s very close to our hearts - KiwiLink.
This year we have set a goal to fund a borehole in Zimbabwe to help provide essential water to the community.
Water shortages have been a problem in Zimbabwe for many years and in resettlement areas especially, it is common for families to walk up to 10km to get drinking water. Often children are sent to fetch water in the afternoon when they return home from school. They go to the nearest source, which might even be a dried river bed, where they dig a hole and wait for water to seep in.
Costing around US$6,000 each, these boreholes have reduced the walking distance and provided more accessible water for growing vegetables. Kiwilink Zimbabwe is helping provide boreholes and hand pumps in arid rural areas.

MARKET GUIDE
Sorry - No Dogs on Market Day
We love dogs (and have a couple on the farm ourselves!), but for the safety and comfort of our animals, stallholders, and guests, we don’t allow dogs on-site during the market (except for certified service dogs). We know they’ll be sad to miss out, but you can always take them home a special treat from K9 Deli to make up for it!
Smoke & Vape Free Venue
To keep our market a clean, family friendly environment, Beacon Hill is proudly a smoke and vape free event. We want everyone to be able to relax, enjoy the fresh country air, and soak up the atmosphere without distraction. Thank you for helping us keep it that way!
Eftpos & Cash Out
While some of our lovely stallholders do have Eftpos available, as with most markets, cash is still king. We’ll have a cash out station available on the right-hand side of the market – just look for the red shed and the signs. Please note that transaction fees apply.
Entry, Exit & Parking
Entry to the market is through the main driveway at Beacon Hill. There’s plenty of parking available on-site, with our friendly team on hand to help direct you when you arrive. Please follow their guidance to keep everything running smoothly and safely.
When leaving, please take extra care and be patient as you exit. We want to make sure everyone gets home safely.
